My creation is a combination diorama based on some of the most memorable scenes from Hook and the iconic movie poster including:
- Hook’s Ship - The Jolly Roger
- The Crocodile Clock Tower - Tick-Tock
- The Lost Boys Camp - including the famous food fight scene
- Thud Butt and his sling shot
- Too Small
- Rufio riding one of the Surf-Skate Boards around shooting harmless sticky darts at Peter
- Smee and a duelling Hook vs Peter Pan
- A Mermaid
- Tink and her clock house
- The Hook poster compass, title and theming
- Last but not least, Captain Hook’s hook!
The hook was arguably the hardest part of this project. Took me many attempts to make it look right to my eyes.
Hook involved some of my favourite creative's including: Director; Stephen Spielberg, favourite Music Composer; John Williams, favourite Actor; Robin Williams (Peter Pan), Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell, and who could forget Dustin Hoffman as Hook. What a combination.
