Hunger Games: Catching Fire Quarter Quell Interviews

"Will you do us the honor please, please, please? Oh my God. It's like uh... it's like a bird... it's like... umm... A mockingjay."

This model is based on the pre-quarter quell capitol interview scene from The Hunger Games: Catching fire. The model consists primarily of of the stage and has some decorations around it with stage lights. It includes 5 minifies:

I have wanted to build a hunger games model for a while, but at the release of the new available IP's I was now allowed to. The second Hunger Games is my favorite and who doesn't like Caesar Flickerman? Accordingly, I decided on making this model of the interview scene.  

The model contains several difficult building techniques, the spiral stair being the most notable. also the top part of the model was two pieces that were not a full brick apart, which made connecting them in a solid manner very difficult. over all, it was exceedingly enjoyable to design and build.

I believe this would make a fantastic LEGO IDEAS set as there are no Hunger Games themed sets even though the theme is remarkably popular. I believe the audience would love it. Also because the movies have such a wide appeal and popularity it would even appear to people who don't usually buy LEGO's.
