The story this work tells!

Welcome to the Old Town Arch! This is what residents call the place next to the towns info point. Actually, the square has a different official name, but everyone knows it as the Old Town Arch, although it is actually just a small arch to bridge the sidewalk.

The coffee house "Le Café Jeunot" on the upper floor uses the arch as a balcony. You only have to go a few steps down the stairs and you're seated at a very inviting table. Two gentlemen are enjoying their favorite hot drink there. Meanwhile, Grandma and old Jack have taken their seats inside. They each decided on a cappuccino, with Grandma happily sampling the milk foam with a spoon and Jack treating himself to a separate croissant.

Under the coffee house there is the costume shop „The masked Brick“ that is known far beyond Lego town for its variety of different costumes. It is not currently visited, which is why the owner is now putting a lot of effort into presenting his goods. However, he knows that his business is seasonal.

On the opposite side there is an information point, marked by a huge green "i" on it's roof, that guides tourists on their way and advises on all the highlights and sights of the town.
There is a bike rental service right next to the information point. This is very practical and popular not only with tourists. The bikes can be easily rented for cheap money and left at several rental stations throughout the town. So you can go, without thinking about to come back to the same point.

Why did I build it?

Actually, it all started with the arch itself. I just wanted to build a modular building again after failing with a few other ideas. And the Arch was the starting idea!
I definitely wanted to focus on something that I enjoy and that I can do. I am often impressed by other people's great creations, but I often lack the talent. But I know that I can design modular buildings - and I enjoy doing it! I hope you can see how much fun I had and that you like the final result! If so, I would be delighted to receive your support and a comment!

Why I believe it would make a great LEGO set?
In fact, I think, that this creation would be a beautiful addition to any LEGO collection of modular buildings! It can be connected to other building. Just the roof protrudes the baseplate, which should be taken into consideration – but I did not want to redesign it at the expense of the beautiful appearance.
The set uses a few advanced building techniques and it would be pure fun to build it. In addition, I like the idea to add an info point to a LEGO town, as well as the costume shop and the nice coffee house. However, I think the info point wasn't seen that often yet … at least I can't remember one.

So, don't miss to support!

Give me the chance to return easily the favor and leave therefore a comment!

Thx a lot!

Parts used: 3000 of 694 lots in 56 colours (Actually, I had to reduce parts to meet exactly the limit. But, I think it worked fine without a loss of quality. 😊)
