FINAL UPDATE BEFORE 10.000!
As my final update before we reach 10.000k supporters, I would like to add a little custom brick to this project.
It is the tradition of botanical gardens to identify the tree species with a little plaque. Usually it contains a common name, its scientific name, and loads of other information. Since I don't have enough space for all that, an abbreviated version of the binomial nomenclature should do.
So Handroanthus albus becomes H. albus.
I've also added a little décor following the Botanical series visuals.
I hope you liked it.
Thank you all who supported my project and made this little yellow dream come true. I never imagined my little tree would get so much love.
Thank you all.
Much love!
Douglas. 🌳💛

8.000 SUPPORTERS AND A REAL BUILD!
I finally got the money to buy the bricks and build my little tree in real life... AND IT HOLDS UP! Oh boy, I was so relieved! I had to change a few things, some details on the top, but the build is 99% there.
In the picture you can see it next to the 10281 LEGO Bonsai set. I'll post more pictures on my Instagram.
Thank you all for the amazing support you have all been giving to my project.
Much love!

4.000 supporters!
I would like to thank everybody that supported me so far! What a journey!
As promised on the comment section, I would like to share with you the tree that inspired this build.
This is a Golden Trumpt tree in Brasilia and the picture was taken by Flávio Brandão (be sure to check his Flickr account for more gorgeous pictures like this).
I think I did a pretty good jog with my design, right?
So, once again, thank you everybody. Hope you are all safe and well.
Love.

STAFF PICK and a third of the way there!
Today was an amazing day. My little tree was 'staff picked' and as a result I got a big boost of supporters that allowed me to get almost a third of the way to the 10K mark.
A big 'thank you' to all my supporters, the amazing people helped me keep my dream alive, the ones that left beautiful comments at the comments section and to the Lego IDEAS staff for been so generous with my Ipê.
Thank you ALL. You are all AWESOME!
Love!

A quarter of the way there! Thanks everybody! Means a lot to me!

PS.: Actually, we are already on the 2.6K mark, but I forgot to post my 2.500 supporters thank you update. Sorry about that.

2.000 Supporters! I can't thank you all enough!
Just a month ago I published this project and it's already on the 20% mark. Can't thank you all enough!
If things continue to go well, in four more months I'll reach the 10.000 supporters milestone and my project may get of chance of becoming a real Lego set.
Fingers crossed!
Douglas.
