Dr Stone is an ongoing 2019 anime series from TMS Entertainment, based on a 2017 manga; with a second season due in 2021.
The story follows Senku, a science wiz-kid, who is one of the first to reawaken after the human population is frozen in stone for 3700 years.
He soon discovers a small village, surviving with Stone Age technology, and must win their trust as he tries to rebuild the world of science.
A funny, sometimes wacky and quite a different series from most as the story follows how to produce many of the things we take for granted using chemistry, hard work and a lot of trial and error.
This 1050-piece set recreates the village in miniature, with it's two islands and the mainland 'science camp' that Senku establishes. It includes the main details seen throughout the series including the fire tree and even the small jetty only currently seen in the manga.
I have also included several of the main characters, with appropriate items, to complete the set.
I hope fans appreciate the design and that the build is of interest to those of the wider LEGO community and maybe one day #LEGODoesAnime.
