This Lego set celebrates one of the best anime/ manga series ever, Fullmetal Alchemist!
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is one of the most well regarded anime series. Frequently topping 'Best anime' lists in many forums and review sites.
I believe a lot of Legofans + anime fans would love to have a Lego set based on the series,
And I am super excited the IP is finally allowed on LEGO IDEAS!
The series' emphasis on courage, friendship and perseverance has resonated with a huge fan base, and aligns with values held by many Lego fans.
This set includes a brick-built Gate of truth anda battle diorama showing the unique magic system of the story : Alchemy.
The project also features minifigures of six fan favorite characters, along with the iconic pocket watch from the series~!

Model details:
- A brick-built “Gate of truth”, center of the magic system in the story. This is the key location in both the beginning and ending of the story.
- Here, the “Tree of Life” pattern of the gate is re-created in detail using lego bricks. The doors can be displayed in the closed state, or attached on the flip-side as an open gate. The giant eye and the void behind the gate are also represented with lego elements.
- A diorama of ‘Earth transmutation’ magic, with earth palm and rock punches exploding from the ground! Minifigures can be attached to the ‘rock arms’, presenting a dynamic battle scene! In the gallery, I have used Scar VS Wrath, and Elric brothers VS Lust as examples.
The set features 6minifigures of fan favorite characters, including:
- The Elric brothers (Edward and Alphonse)
- Roy Mustang (Flame Alchemist)
- Scar
- Homunculus : Wrath and Lust
These can be displayed with 2 icons from the series:
- Edward’s ‘state alchemist’ Pocket watch (with the important date engraving inside)
- Philosopher’s stone, a key item throughout the story.
