Mahna Mahna (Do Doo De-Do-Do)

Is it stuck in your head already? A most classic earworm, since Jim Henson popularised the song Mahna Mahna as a musical number from the first season of The Muppet Show in 1976. The Muppets, in different forms had also performed the song on Sesame Street and The Ed Sullivan Show, previously.

This Ideas submission, is of course based on the most familiar version, featuring the Snowths on backing vocals, and Mahna Mahna himself on lead vocals. Kermit the Frog, ever annoyed, is bringing the backstage phone in to the Snowths when Mahna Mahna is off screen singing.

This would make a great display piece, possibly with some motion / dancing added via a crank mechanism.

I'm a huge fan of pop culture nostalgia, with a real soft spot for Jim Henson's creations (see my other submissions for more Muppety goodness, and more - remember you must be logged in to see my profile!).

This will appeal to fans of the Muppets, Jim Henson, pop-culture, and people who love getting songs stuck in their head.
