Beaker Muppet Bust - "Meep Meep Meep"

The characters from The Muppet Show are a timeless bunch of misfits, amusing and thrilling audiences across generations for decades via a number of TV Shows, Movies, youtube clips, and more. Among the most popular of Jim Henson and his team's creations is this classic character in front of you now.

What can you say about Beaker, other than "MEEP MEEP MEEP!"? He is Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's hapless lab assistant who is always getting blown up, burned or otherwise scared out of his wits. Beaker's LEGO model has rotatable eyes so you can change where he's looking, an opening & closing mouth, poseable arms, and a removeable dish holding a combustible experimental concoction of Honeydew's. The muppet was originally performed by the brilliant (late) Richard Hunt.

This is an eye-popping display piece that will trigger talk of cherished Muppet memories (or maybe just 'Meeps') from even your most jaded guests and family members. The original version of this MOC I made back in 2020, and have made several improvements since the original design - better hair, nose, tie, and shirt. Finally happy enough with it to submit to LEGO Ideas.
