Scooby-Doo, Where are you? In this LEGO set, of course!

This a set that celebrates one of the most famous and beloved cartoon characters of all time, Scooby-Doo! The character first originated in 1969, and has since had 14 different series and several movies. This set highlights four classic episodes, with scenes from each, all arranged into a large display piece with the classic "SD" logo in the middle.

The first scene is from the very first Scooby-Doo episode, What Night for a Knight, featuring the Black Knight Ghost. It features the pickup truck that the Knight was being transported to the museum in, along with an eerie background, featuring a full moon, fog, and the dark outline of some trees.

The second scene features the famous Headless Horseman, another classic Scooby villain, who has even appeared in a LEGO set before! This scene features the Headless Horseman riding his horse past Crane Manor. The background includes the facade of Crane Manor, a driveway leading up to it, a fence, a full moon, and a tree.

The third scene features the 10,000 Volt Ghost, which was featured in both a show and a movie. This particular scene is from the original episode, and shows the 10,000 Volt Ghost stealing the power from the power lines. The build in this scene is the top of a power line, with the ghost holding the power lines and sparks coming from the ends of them. The background on this scene shows a snowstorm, with snow flying behind and around the power line.

The fourth and final scene features the Tar Monster. This monster is the third one of this set to be featured in both a show and a movie. It is also the only one out of the four to be brick-built, with special stickers for the eye and mouth, dripping tar details, and moveable arms. The scene itself features a tent from the archaeological dig where the monster was found, as well as a tar pool, a ruined pillar, a barbed wire fence, and some tools. The inside of the tent has a table with a lantern.

In addition to all of the scenes, the set also features minifigures of everyone from Mystery Inc: Fred, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and, of course, Scooby-Doo! Each minifigure has a stand so they can be displayed around the set, or on their own.

I built this set because I have always been a fan of Scooby. I have watched several series and several movies, and have enjoyed them for a long time. I think this would make a good LEGO Idea set because of how popular Scooby-Doo is, and because it pays tribute to several classic Scooby-Doo episodes, which would appeal to fans of all ages.

Enjoy!
