The Great Sphinx of Giza

This model started as my attempt to recreate the original LEGO sphinx from set 5978, a favorite of mine.

It naturally progressed to me trying to replicate the original Sphinx of Giza from Egypt.

All the work was done using Studio 2.0 and a lot of the pieces does not exist in the colors I choose because my main focus was to actually replicate the real thing despite color availability.

After it was done, I added some scenery related to 5978 and a little more color variation just to make it more interesting.

I think this model can be made into a fine LEGO set that can give a lot of AFOLs, like me, some good memories of the first Adventurers line that was launched back in 1999.
