Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord

Hey Everyone, I'm back with my last zord 2.0 upgrade. The Mastodon

(shown without stickers, See previous update for stickers,)

• New Head design, eyes are now pieces not stickers
• New Legs
• Shoulder and arm stickers will be the same, along with ear stickers

Here is the new 2.0 Version of my Lego design:

This is my new Megazord design, i made sure that all the changes to the individual zords would not alter the megazord too much.

The transformation is about the same, the T-Rex tail tip folds back to stay hidden in Megazord mode and i added the mastodon shield to the design.

Hey everyone I just completed my next zord rebuild, the T-Rex.

• New head design with eyes
• New arms with hinges
• New sculpt on thighs
• Completely rebuilt tail, now with hinges and ball joints for pose variation

I am not planning to rebuild the Pterodactyl, that design is complete and I don't think it needs changes.

The mastodon redesign will just be the Head/Shield, the main body is complete. I did change the legs a while back.

I have been working on some upgrades to my zords

Saber Tooth Tiger

• New head design( now has eyes, nose, and new shape.)
• New legs with better shape and with hinges, allowing for poses

I decided to make the side designs solid Legos, instead of stickers. It may be less smooth and less accurate, but stickers tend to fade over time and fall off. 

Triceratops

• New head with eyes and better color scheme

I want to know what people think about the design changes, I plan to update the other zords as well soon.

Hey everyone i wanted to show you something cool i have been working on.

This is another Power Rangers Lego Zord i have been designing, The Dino Charge T-Rex zord

This is a quick peek at this cool design. It is shown in comparison to my MMPR T-Rex and Megazord

I am not sure if I should post this to Lego Ideas, it is rather large. Just the T-Rex is 2400 pieces

This post is just for fun, the Dino Charge T-Rex is not part of my MMPR Megazord idea

In total I have made 4 complete Lego megazords so far. The MMPR Dino, Megaforce, Super Megaforce, and Dino Charge, you can check out the Super Megaforce megazord on Lego.com LDD gallery.

I hope everyone likes my design. I was wondering if I should post the Dino Charge Megazord, (the arms are not complete yet. With arms it will be 2900 pieces.)

I have made a few changes to the design of my megazords tank mode.

The mastodon head/shield now requires a removable clip to attach to the T-Rex. It is now also dark gray instead of black, the show model mastodon had a gray head so I changed it.

The Pterodactyl also uses a removable clip to attach to the tail of the T-Rex.

Due to the smooth design of the megazord i had to add the clips so zords could attach in tank mode.

This image shows essentially the basic look of the tank mode(shown without stickers).

I made sure my design incorporates all the components properly, while still being a clean design with no visible studs.

I have been working on a variety of designs lately, but i thought i would come back to my megazord design.

This is the newest version (Shown without stickers), the shoulder pads are closer to the main body, i also added panels to the waist to fill in the gap. The head is a bit taller as well. It is also holding my new Power Sword as well. The actual model will have lots of stickers as shown in previous updates

I want to explain the transformation a little bit. The feet of the Tyrannosaurus fold up and peg into the back of the thighs, to stabilize the megazord. It transforms as screen accurate as possible. The saber tooth and triceratops have wheels so the tank mode can roll, but i am unsure how well it will roll since i haven't been able to build a real model yet.  

I finished the Power Sword design, it is as close to screen accurate as i could get it 

It is meant to be silver, but my laptop struggles to render silver so i made it gray( just the chest of the megazord took 2 hours to render).

I got the Pterodactyl zord design complete really quick, it is the easiest design out of the zords.

Here it is:

My final zord design is of course the Tyrannosaurus.

The other sticker designs are just side views i will add top and front views of each zord once they are complete

I have got the basic look of the saber tooth tiger stickers done

As with my previous designs this zord idea is based on the show model, more than the toys.

I also have an update to piece count, it is 1350 pieces, that includes the mastodon head shield(which i forgot earlier) and the power sword.  

I am going to design the Pterodactyl zord next.
