What is this set?
The Cinder's Shatterspin Mech is a custom LEGO build designed as an impressive mech from Dragons Rising, featuring over 1200 pieces with around 200 pieces per figure. This set showcases Cinder's powerful mech, equipped with unique design features such as a wolf-themed headpiece, specialized shatter spin armor, and a massive custom rage blade. The build also includes intricate details, like functional chest and knee joints, as well as piston-styled back elements inspired by prior Ninjago mechs.
Why did I build it?
I created this set to push the boundaries of Ninjago-themed mechs, adding new articulation points and a bold aesthetic to make it stand out from typical LEGO mechs. It was also a competition entry that earned third place (out of 7000 entries), demonstrating its appeal and quality. The goal was to develop a build that would combine visual impact with playability, giving fans of the series a standout model.

With a the new posable mech system first used in the Climber Mech and Dragon Titan Mech, this mech balances build complexity, posability, and storytelling, making it an ideal addition to any LEGO Ninjago collection.
