This LEGO project is a custom Ninjago-themed Christmas set designed to fill a unique gap in LEGO's lineup: a festive holiday set inspired by the beloved Ninjago franchise. Despite LEGO Ninjago's 14-year run, it has yet to receive an official Christmas set for public release. The inspiration behind this set stems from the desire to combine Ninjago's adventurous spirit with the joy of the holiday season, creating a playful and imaginative build that would appeal to fans of all ages. Master Wu steps in as a stand-in Santa Claus, complete with festive attire, ready to save Christmas!
What is it?
This concept includes multiple builds and minifigures that align with the Ninjago universe, all adapted for a festive holiday adventure:
- Santa’s Ninja Helpers: Minifigures of the ninja team dressed in custom holiday sweaters, equipped to take on Santa's duties.
- Toymaker Machine: A playful assembly line operated by Pixel to create and wrap presents, complete with working parts and quality-control mechanisms.
- Vehicles:
- A sleek Christmas bike with multiple presents to spread the Holiday Cheer!
- Chirsmtas Car equipped with present launchers for quick deliveries.
- A gingerbread mech capable of carrying large gifts or trees.
- The Destiny Sleigh is a festive, smaller-scale version of the Destiny's Bounty, designed as a holiday-themed ship pulled by magical reindeer dragons gifted by the source dragons! It features reindeer-inspired elements, candy cane accents, Christmas wreaths, and functional details like present-launching cannons and storage for gifts.
Why was it built?
The creator recognized a gap in LEGO's offerings—Ninjago fans have been left out of the holiday-themed LEGO set tradition. This project seeks to rectify that by combining the holiday cheer of Christmas with the action-packed, imaginative world of Ninjago. The merged realms storyline adds a creative twist, tying the build to the broader Ninjago lore while introducing a fun, family-friendly narrative.
