"With quiver and bow, sword, buckler, and all, thus armed was Marian most bold" (from Robin Hood and Maid Marian)

This project features Marian, an indispensable character in the popular ballads of Robin Hood and his merry men. In the proposed set, Prince John has captured Wat O' the Crabstaff while wandering the forest with his dogs, and is taking him back to his castle in chains. Ahead of him, Marian hides behind a tree ready to ambush the prince and rescue Wat O' the Crabstaff.

The set includes several accessories, along with several animals: two dogs, an owl, and a horse. The minifigures include (from left to right in image 5): Marian, Wat O' the Crabstaff, and Prince John.

I feel that this would be a great Lego Ideas set since it compliments the Forestmen and Dark Forest lines, while including a rich back story, many different features, and the benefit of updated Lego pieces.

Feel free to share and support if you like this project and would love to see it as a set!
