London North Western Railway #2054 "Queen Empress"
This locomotive was built in 1893 and was specially painted white and with the Royal Arms in honor of Queen Victoria´s Diamond Jubilee in 1897. he run 511-366 miles up to his end in Dec 1905. It was sent to the Chicago Exhibition in 1893 where it gained the gold medal for excellence of workmanship and subsequently ran an LNWR train from Chicago to New York, the first British train run in America.
Here are some facts about my model:
•This model is motorized.
•There are around 935 pieces.
•There are additional train tracks.
•The reason I chose to make this train is simply because it is one of the only steam locomotives in the world that is white.
Why could this be a good LEGO IDEAS set?
My idea could be a great Lego set, because the model is displayable in its beauty and playable because it is motorized and runs on classic Lego train tracks. For these reasons, this model could be a great set to have.
