Dear Aunt Lucy…

I’m writing to tell you some fabulous news. Somebody called “Bricked1980” has designed a model of me made from lots of little pieces of plastic called “LEGO”. Apparently if enough people vote for it then there is a chance it could be made in to a real “LEGO” set which sounds terribly exciting.

The model is a recreation of the time when I first arrived at Paddington Station looking for a new home. There are lots of lovely details like pigeons, marmalade, my suitcase and a little section of Paddington Station itself.

Lots of LEGO pieces have been used to make the model, around 1300 in fact. It stands about 30 centimetres tall, which is about the same size as a great stack of marmalade sandwiches, although not so tasty I imagine.

Bricked1980 says I am “Iconic” and loved by generations of children and adults alike. He thinks a LEGO set all about me would be really great.

I do hope you’ll have chance to look at the model and even vote for it yourself Aunt Lucy.
