The Soyuz is perhaps the oldest and most used rocket in history.  It was originally designed by the Russians and was derived from the Vostok launcher (which launched the first man in space, Yuri Gagarin).  It was introduced in 1966 and has launched many Cosmonauts and later Astronauts from various nations to space.  Today it is the only means by which humans can travel to the International Space Station.

This model is in the traditional grey and orange color scheme with the white upper fairing.  Later versions would have different patterns with the white, grey and orange.  There are four blue "feet" for the rocket to stand upon for display.  It has 2983 pieces in its current version.

This is for all who are space enthusiasts, interested in learning about space and rockets, and those who want another rocket to display alongside the Saturn V model which is what inspired me to create this large-scale model.

I hope you like it!
