Welcome to Castle Rock
This model is based on the German Castle Neuschwannstein but placed in a fictional setting.
My goal was to create a model that would look nice under a glass dome, like those little winter snowball globes. I have always liked castles and Neuschwannstein is one of my favorites. It has been quite a few years since I visited there, so I do not remember the layout very well anymore; hence, the fictional setting.
Beside the castle, with its many towers and side structures, there is a waterfall, a little lake, a cave, a walkway leading down to the water, trees and shrubbery on the rocks.
The present model is built with 543 bricks and about 18 studs diameter.
