Chinese Abacus

Chinese Abacus, an old computing equipment. People can calculate quickly if one have experience and skills.

Built entirely from 1032 LEGO bricks, it has 13 axle, each of the axle has 7 abacus beads. There are 2 beads on the upper part and 5 on the lower part. it can use and compute some operation.

When I was in the kindergarten, my teacher had taught some skills about using abacus. There is a skill of using Chinese abacus called mental abacus calculation. People can calculate some addition and multiplication with large number very fast. I watched a TV program about Maths. There was a person who use mental abacus calculation to calculate additions with some numbers that are more than 10,000! This is where my inspiration from.
