Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
Keep an eye on the time… or you’ll miss the train as it arrives directly through your fireplace!
This set is a tribute to Belgian surrealist René Magritte and his famous painting, “Time Transfixed,” which currently hangs in the Art Institute of Chicago.
Brick-by-brick, the user assembles the ornate stone mantel, followed by the mirror, which reflects the clock and candlesticks.
Suddenly, the train appears, emerging triumphantly from the fireplace, projecting out into the room!
The wheels fully rotate, and if you listen carefully, you might just hear the train whistle as it blows off some steam!
The artwork is compatible with the brick-built framing system introduced in previous art sets, and it also features an integrated picture ‘hook’ – achieved via technic part 67139 – which makes it a snap to hang on the wall next to your other creations!
Comprised of just under 1000 pieces, this masterwork needs your support to become a real Lego set!
