Congrats on having your 10K Club model displayed at the LEGO House

Dear brickartist,

It has been with great pleasure that we had the opportunity to display your 10K Club project at the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark in the period 17th September to 8th October, 2018.

The display, held in conjunction with the 10 year annivesary of celebrating your creative ideas through LEGO CUUSOO and LEGO Ideas, was a celebration of the dedication and passion of our talented LEGO Ideas members from throughout the years.

To view all the models that were a part of the display and read more about each of the members who sent their models please visit the LEGO Ideas blog. You can also view additional images here

Thank you for taking the time to celebrate this very special community with us!

Kind regards,

The LEGO Ideas Team

LEGO Review Results for Small YELLOW

First and foremost, congratulations to brickartist for reaching 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas, and toward everyone for all of the support of the Small YELLOW project! The results of the LEGO Review are in and you can see full details on the LEGO Ideas Blog.

Review Results for Small YELLOW
Our team has thoroughly considered the possibility of releasing this project as a LEGO set according to the criteria of the LEGO Review. Unfortunately the LEGO Review Board has decided that we will not produce this project as a set.

Thank you to brickartist for the passion and creativity that went into this project, and to all of you who voted so that we would have the opportunity to consider this as a potential LEGO set. We’re sorry to deliver this disappointing news.

How do we arrive at our decisions?
By gaining 10,000 supporters, a fan-submitted project moves from the Idea Stage to the Review Stage, where it earns the opportunity to be considered as a future LEGO® set in a process called the “LEGO Review.” Gaining 10,000 Supporters is just the first step in this process.

A "LEGO Review Board" composed of professional set designers, product managers, marketing representatives, and other key team members examine each qualified project. They build concept models and determine if the concept meets our high standards for what it takes to be a LEGO product; including factors such as playability, safety, and fit with the LEGO brand. Every potential LEGO product, including those developed internally, goes through a similar process and must meet the same standards.

The amount of time this takes varies due to all the factors involved. Unfortunately, this process sometimes means that well-conceived projects that gain just-as-passionate followings have to be turned down. Please note that the LEGO Review Board makes all final decisions on which new sets the LEGO Group will release based on LEGO Ideas projects.

Congratulations on 10,000 supporters, Brickartist!

Dear Brickartist,

As one of the most accomplished builders in the LEGO world, you have cultivated a dedicated following, as demonstrated by the 10,000 supporters who have come through for your ‘Small YELLOW’ project!

The LEGO Group’s mission is to “inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.” Your Yellow sculpture, and the smaller version you’ve submitted here, have inspired LEGO fans the world over. We now advance this monochromatic masterpiece to the Review stage. Congratulations!

What happens now?

This project moves from the Idea stage to the Review stage. A "LEGO Review Board" composed of designers, product managers, and other key team members will examine the idea. We'll build concept models and determine if the concept meets our high standards for what it takes to be a LEGO product. This includes factors such as playability, safety, and fit with the LEGO brand. Every potential LEGO product goes through a process like this and must meet the same standards.

The LEGO Review Begins in May

This project qualifies for the First 2015 Review, which includes projects that reach 10,000 supporters between early January and early May. For more information about the LEGO review process, please see the Project Guidelines and House Rules.

The review is a thorough process and from its start, and can take several months. When finished, we make a "go/no go" decision to develop and sell a product based on the Small YELLOW project.

When the review is complete, we will inform you of our decision. If green-lit, this project goes into the longest phase of the project; the Development phase. During this time, LEGO model designers refine the product and develop it for release, we create the product materials (box, instructions, marketing), and get everything ready for a production run. This also takes several months.

We will post follow-up information and our decision here.

Congratulations on 5,000+ Supporters!

Over 5,000 would-be LEGO art collectors have put their support behind your iconic sculpture. Congratulations so far, and good luck on the rest of your journey!

Congratulations on 1,000+ Supporters!

Congratulations on blowing past the first 1,000 supporter milestone on LEGO CUUSOO! It would be great to have the miniature version of your famous sculpture available for LEGO fans to have in their own homes and offices. We're big fans of both Big YELLOW and Small YELLOW and are excited to see your project gaining traction on LEGO CUUSOO.

Note: Over the past weeks we have unfortunately seen a series of "throwaway" accounts that caused this project to rapidly increase in supporters. We only count what we determine to be genuine supporters, and have adjusted the supporter count accordingly.

We wish you good luck on your journey to 10,000 supporters!
