Interstellar is one of the most iconic films of the 2010s. Directed by Christopher Nolan, this masterpiece blends exploration, science, space, time, family, environment, and love. This LEGO set captures the essence of the movie through an immersive and detail-packed build.
Originally created in 2021, this project is now republished to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Interstellar.
A Concept Based on Space and Time
Space: At first glance, the set appears to only represent Cooper’s farmhouse, but a hidden feature reveals the tesseract, with Joseph and TARS inside.
Time: Tom, Murphy, and Joseph minifigures come in two versions, allowing you to recreate key moments from different time periods in the movie. In the 11th picture, through the bookcase, Joseph sees both the past and the present at the same time: a pivotal scene in the story.
A Farmhouse Full of Details and References
The house is composed of three main rooms:
Kitchen: The central place where the family gathers.
Living Room: A study space featuring blueprints, science books, and Murphy’s lunar module.
Murphy’s Room: The emotional heart of the set, symbolizing the connection between Earth and space, past and present, and the fate of humanity. Key elements include a Morse code book, Joseph’s watch, and a paper with the word "STAY".
