This is a boat fit for a king. I built it because I want to see a functional and beautiful boat. One day I took out the frame of a boat I had began building years before. I decide to strip it and start anew. As I built I noticed that LEGO has lots of boats, big and small, pretty and ugly, but they don't have a small, beautiful, and functional one. The Royal Barge has a wonderful color scheme of red and gold, colors I think of when I think of royalty.
The Royal Barge has many incredible features such as secret compartment that holds money. It also has a removable top over the bed so you can easily situate minifigures inside. The driver area has tiles to give it a smooth, clean, and refined look. The boat has a ladder on the side so your minifigures can climb on.
I think my set would be a fabulous addition to LEGO because LEGO had lots and lots of wonderful and incredible sets, but no boat that is very functional. LEGO has boats but you can't board the boats easily. I want others to have a wonderful time playing with LEGO's and I think that this boat would enhance the seafare of LEGO.
