Pixar Animation Studios

I present to you the Pixar Animation Studios build! Originally founded in 1986, Pixar has become one of the most beloved animation studios in the world. Known for its unique stories and developed animation style, Pixar continues to capture the hearts of anyone and everyone!

Growing up I taught myself how to draw, design, and create, and when I saw my first Pixar film I knew I wanted to develop character slick the ones I saw in their films. I lived in a town about 45 minutes from Emeryville, Ca where the studios are located and I used to drive by it all the time and create stories about what the animators were creating next!

I created this piece because I wanted to have a little bit of Pixar history within my own home to remind myself that dreaming and creating are two of the most powerful things a person can have and give to each other.

Inside the build are a few little easter eggs to some of the early Pixar fils like A Bug's Life and Toy Story, and one top of the gates sits the iconic Luzo Lamp we've all come to love.
