Forest Folk Play Area

As an AFOL of a certain age, there are a few LEGO themes which take you back to my childhood. Space, Pirates and Castles were my favourite sets, and all have been popular with remakes over the past few years (thank you, LEGO!). One of my most beloved sub-themes when I was young was the Forestmen! I used to spend hours creating stories for my LEGO Minifigures, with the hero having to break into the castle to save his friends, fall in love with the princess, battle Captain Redbeard and his crew, and even join some adventures in space! So, for my entry, I wanted to dedicate my design to the Forestmen and to play by combining the two into the Forest Folk Play Area.

The children in the set are dressed as Forest Folk, even with a toy bow and arrow, while they let their imaginations guide their play in the play area inspired by 6071: Forestmen's Crossing.

The build includes 250 pieces with 97 different elements.
