New and Updated Accessories

As a final update to this project, I'm showing off the new system I've come up with for the mech. This system allows one to attach & swap different gear and weapons on the mech, making it much more play-friendly, and giving it a much broader appeal (hopefully).

Improved joint connections

Ever since I created the Minifig Mech, I have always been slightly bothered by its lack of posability due to the joints in its arms and legs. I'm very exited to have finally solved the problem and improved the joint connections, which has gotten some great new poses out of this moc:

Using Mixel ball joint connections, I have greatly improved the range of motion of the arms on the mech:

I have also used 1x2 by 1x2 brackets to remount the the ball joints of the hips vertically in order to maximize their range of motion:

Finally, I have redesigned the cockpit of the mech in order to allow for easier access to the minifigure inside:

Lego Miter Saw & Drill Press

The Minifig scale miter saw has all of the ranges of movement attributable to the real thing, while the drill press is just for looks ;-P

Working Tipp Kick Player ⚽️

Tipp kick is a game of soccer, where one needs to score goals using figurines similar to this. When the head is pressed, the foot kicks the ball! Of course, this model does the same. Hope you enjoy, and don't forget to give feedback!!

Some cues from Classic Space!!!

Upon a request to incorporate an element of Classic Space into this mech, I have built an up-scaled version of the minifigure air tank. Combined with the giant megaphone (shown previously), it makes for a really good effect:
