Edward Scissorhands

This is a giant mini-figure build of Edward Scissorhands, a movie by Tim Burton. Edward was one of many simple robotic machines created by an Inventor who lived in solitude in a mansion overlooking a small modern town. Edward's role was to chop up various foods such as vegetables. One day, the Inventor decided to bring Edward to life by building him a real body. Sadly, Edward was not finished before the passing of his creator. So, his hands still remained constructed of scissors.

I built this because Edward is one of my favorite fictional characters. He has a kind and creative personality but isn't without a temper. He is usually shy but can be outgoing sometimes. Since his hands are made of scissors, he demonstrates creativity through shrubbery and ice sculptures. He even starts styling peoples' hair and grooming their dogs which I find hilarious.

I think this would make a fun set to display. It was my first giant mini-figure build. I have always been fascinated by them. They allow a lot of room for details.

Features and notes: The arms, legs and scissors can be rotated. The head plates are secured with a bar in the middle. Edward's bodysuit consists of a lot of belts, buckles and buttons. He has a Frankenstein style.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my idea.
