The Fish Machine
Once upon a time, in a steampunk world full of cogs and steam, there was a crazy inventor named Victor. He spent his days creating extraordinary machines. One day, he wanted to imagine his new submarine to explore a world that could still be explored. Victor did not stop, he then invented a machine that would become one of his wonders that would fascinate the inhabitants of this region. In this universe where mechanics and magic intersected, Victor had managed to bring his dream to life, proving that imagination has no limits.
The fish machine is directly inspired by the universe of Karel Zeman, but mainly inspired by the universe of Jules Verne. He is a 19th century French writer whose work is, for the most part, made up of adventure novels evoking the scientific progress of the 19th century. My fish machine is inspired by his book "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea", it is an adventure novel by Jules Verne, published in 1869-1870. It tells the story of three castaways captured by Captain Nemo, a mysterious inventor who travels the depths of the sea aboard the Nautilus, a submarine far ahead of the technologies of the time. It is one of the most translated books in the world.
I built this colorful fish to depict an adventurer curious to discover a new world.
This construction would be perfect for animal or science fiction enthusiasts.
This construction measures 28x15x28 cm.
