The story
It all began with an inventor and his idea of giving life to a boy. He had put all his heart into this project but time revealed to be faster than his work. Edward, this is his name, had scissors instead of hands. His dad didn't finish him. A whole world of loneliness and creativity than is not understood, because, as it often happens, diversity always scares most of the people who surround us. A pure spirit launched in the superficiality of a little village and its inhabitants.
Love that always wins over everything and everyone.
The ideas
When determination overcomes the fear of the impossible and when stubbornness exceeds the limits of the improbable, this is the final results. I would like to create a build that is intricate to realize but that also transmits every single things in the smallest detail. An articulated project that gives as a final result the same feeling that I felt when I first saw the film as a child.
A wonderful interpretation of Tim Burton's masterpiece projected into the Lego world.
The build
A castle, five minifigures and a lots of sculptures to build. The film that comes to life brick after brick. A dark and gloomy entrance that hides inside a garden full of sculptures modeled from bushes thanks to his "hands".The imagination of real and fantastic animals created by his mind that is liked to the one of a child stepping into life, pure and simple. I tried to recreate his world, what his eyes have seen and what he realized.
A love story that made him the most human of all.
