Be a part of LEGO automotive history with BLOODHOUND SSC, the supersonic vehicle that's set to break the existing World Land Speed Record by its widest ever margin, reaching the fabled 1,000mph mark in the process. It is powered by a Eurojet EJ200 jet engine and a Nammo rocket cluster, with a Jaguar Supercharged V8 engine used to drive the rocket oxidiser pump.

A key objective of the Bloodhound Project is to inspire young minds to take an interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This is very much in line with the creativity and systematic reasoning encouraged by LEGO, making this a natural partnership. You can find out more about the Bloodhound Project by visiting the official site.

While much thought has been put into reproducing the unique design of BLOODHOUND SSC as a LEGO set, this has not been done at the expense of the underlying structure. The same effort was put into the areas that can't be seen as those that can, with a touch of artistic licence added for good measure. Weighing in at 775 pieces, the finished product should be able to withstand being handled and played with, or simply kept as a display model.
