Minifigs update

It was a recurring comment about this set: the characters minifigs were not that great. As the project will still be around for some time thanks to the 1K supports, I took the opportunity to revisit this so they look more modern. I changed the skins color to better match those in the game, and I modified a bit the outfit. For Link's hat, I mixed it with minifig hair, which makes it closer to the look in the games.

I didn't want to spend too much time on it as I don't believe I can achieve a great result. But if you want to see polished Link's Awakening minifigs with an accurate outfit, you can have a look at another well done project: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f9fc887a-dd8b-4fb0-a204-bc01a1fbee92

Even if I didn't make so many changes, I think it makes a big difference in the way the characters look, I hope you like it!

1000 supports

Thanks to everyone who helped reach the 1000 supports, it's great! To celebrate, here is a Game Boy style picture I wanted to include in the project, but which was rejected by the reviewers (too blurry).
Let's keep on going!

Pictures update (again)

Thanks to all, we reached 800 supporters! It is stil possible to reach the 1K milestone.
The required images ratio still changed, so the previous pictures were not looking very nice. Good opportunity to update them with the proper 3:2 ratio!

Pictures update

It has been 2 months, so it's a good time to update the project pictures.
  • The previous ones were a little dark, I tried to add more light intensity
  • With the new Lego Ideas design, old photos not in 16:9 have an incorrect ratio, so providing new 16:9 photos was important
  • Good opportunity to comply to new pictures rules and remove the "Zelda" wording (thanks to Lego Ideas team for selecting my project on their blog, I was happy to see it even if it was a "don't do that" illustration!)

Thanks to everyone who voted for this project! With some luck we can make it to 1000 supports.
