A sedan chair was a cabin equipped with stretchers and carried by men, used to move individually with a seat that allowed travel in a seated position. The sedan chair was common in Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries, it was considered the most suitable means of transport for short trips in town, it helped protect the passenger not only from bad weather but also from the waste that litters the streets like mud. The use of sedan chairs disappeared in France with the revolution. Having made a sedan chair selected to integrate the Lego house in 2024, i decided to promote this ecological means of transport by presenting you with a small diorama featuring the daily walk of a little prince in his magnificent immaculate sedan chair in a bucolic landscape. See his happy face as well as the joy of the porters at fully enjoying this rural stroll. Hoping that you will share this moment of happiness by supporting this project, thank you.
