Your project has expired.

We're really sorry to share that your LEGO® Ideas project didn't reach its supporter milestone before running out of time. Here at LEGO Ideas, we know you had high hopes for your project and put a lot of effort into it, and we understand this can be disappointing. If you still care a lot about this particular project, you're always welcome to submit it again and start over.

We hope you continue submitting projects and hope you have better success next time!

Congratulations on 100 supporters! You've earned an extra 365 days.

You've passed the first milestone and reached 100 supporters within the first 60 days. As a reward, here's a boost of one year (365 days) to reach 1,000 supporters. Best of luck as you continue to rally support for your project.

Your project needs work before we approve it.

Thanks for sharing your LEGO idea with us! Unfortunately your project doesn't meet our Quality Standards, so we hope you give it your best effort to make it better.

Check out this video for project quality tips and carefully read and fix the items we mention below. If you follow our Guidelines and suggestions below before re-submitting, we’re more likely to publish your project and you can start gathering supporters.

Before you re-submit your project, please fix the things we mention below. If you re-submit without meeting our Quality Standards, we'll send it back to you again.

  • Please re-take your photos. Your project’s photos should be crisp and clear, not too dark, bright, grainy, or blurry. Look out for background clutter (we encourage plain, neutral backgrounds), and be sure to frame your model well within your images.
  • Please frame your main cover image so that it shows your entire LEGO model.
  • Please remove the third party images or artwork, as your project may only contain your own original work. Third party logos or the LEGO logo may only be used if it is on a printed LEGO element or sticker as a part of a model.

Unfortunately we can't give you more personalized advice because we receive so many submissions. To see the level of quality we're looking for, check out the most supported projects or the past Staff Picks for inspiration.

Your project was not approved.

We reviewed your project submission and unfortunately it refers to a brand or licensed property that doesn’t fit the LEGO Group’s standards for appropriate content or themes.

While there might not be anything in your project itself that is against our policy, the brand or licensed property your project refers to contains content or themes that we find inappropriate for a potential LEGO product.  We’re afraid that LEGO Ideas cannot accept a project submission based on this brand or licensed property.

Note that licensed properties related to these topics will not be approved:

  • Politics and political symbols
  • Religious references including symbols, buildings, or people
  • Sex, drugs, or smoking
  • Alcohol in any present day situation
  • Swearing
  • Death, killing, blood, terrorism, or torture
  • First-person shooter video games
  • Warfare or war vehicles in any modern or present-day situation
  • Racism, bullying, or cruelty to real life animals

Our team decides how a brand or license fits these standards at our sole discretion. To know what is acceptable in your future projects, please see our Acceptable Project Content section of the Project Guidelines and House Rules.

Even though your project isn't appropriate as a potential LEGO product, you can still share your creation with the world on a photo sharing site like Flickr or on our own social bookmarking site, ReBrick.
