Arcade cabinet closeups
As promised, I've taken some closeup photos of the 18 arcade cabinets; I hope they're clear enough. As you'll see, they all share the same basic structure, which is a modification of the build for the Defender cabinet from the Lego Dimensions Midway Classics Level Pack. The idea was to keep the footprint of the cabinets as small as possible without losing too much realism, in order to maximize the number of cabinets on display in the arcade.
The tiles are all custom-printed in order to emulate the look of each cabinet as accurately as possible. I tried to limit myself to arcade games from the early 1980s, with one or two exceptions due to personal bias. There are also some nods to the inspiration behind this build, as you'll surely notice. Obivously, it would be nearly impossible for Lego to include all of these same cabinets were the set actually sold commercially, but I wanted my arcade to contain the games I loved the most growing up during that time.
