P&AC No.3 (W.N. Kelley) / Sierra No. 3 / CPRR No.131
This Lego model is the Central Pacific Railroad No. 131 also known as Sierra No. 3 and Prescott & Arizona Central Railway No.3 W.N. Kelley
Name History
The construction of the locomotive was completed on March 26, 1891. It was built for the Prescott & Arizona Central Railway (P&AC) as their locomotive #3 and named W.N. Kelley after the company's treasurer. After the 1893 partnership with the Sierra Railway Company, in 1897, the locomotive became the Sierra No. 3 (dropping the W. N. Kelley name). Eventually, in 1990, the train became Central Pacific Railroad No. 131.
About my model:
• There are approximately 1270 pieces.
• There is 1 minifigure.
• I designed this model to be motorizable and can run and turn on the Lego tracks even though it seems heavy and long.
Why this might be a good set of Lego ideas
My idea could be a really good Lego set as the model has several displayable and playable abilities. It's also motorizable and runs on classic Lego train tracks. In short, for these reasons, this model could be a great set.
Conclusion
I would be very grateful if you could support, comment or share my idea.💖
