How I Met Your Mother

"Kids. Have I ever told you about the one where the gang and I got turned in miniature plastic figurines?"

"No? Well that's definitely one for the books!"

I am a huge fan of the series "How I Met Your Mother": and having a LEGO set based on that show would be straight up legen wait for it. dary! So, I had to go ahead and propose my take on the apartment. Coming in at 3,160 pieces, this build is packed to the max. Included in my submission are the 5 main characters of the show being Ted Mosby, Marshall Eriksen, Lily Aldrin, Barney Stinson, and Robin Scherbatsky. I tried to include fun prints for each character, whether it be Lily's "you're dead to me" look, the duck tie that Barney wears, or even Robin's fierce expression when she gets energetic about hockey/interacts with Patrice. But the fun doesn't end there! Scattered throughout the apartment are several easter eggs that help represent different episodes or scenes from the show. Comment down below any details that you may see! Oh yeah...that cavity within the bathroom is for storage of loose pieces. Just thought I'd point that out.

While designing this build, I came across several bumps in the road. Whether it was making a room too small and having to start over, to not accurately depicting objects and having to redesign them, misaligned prints, render errors, multiple submission attempts, and so on. But after weeks of on and off work, my submission is finally done. Is my finished build perfect? By all means no, but l am very proud of the proposal that I made.
