“Vote Knope”
- Leslie Knope
“Parks and Recreation” (or often called “Parks & Rec”) was a comedy that aired on NBC from 2009 to 2015 starring Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope.
It was an award winning show which told the story of Leslie Knope and all her friends that worked in the wildly eccentric fictional city of Pawnee, Indiana.
My design consists of 1464 total pieces featuring the ‘Parks & Recreation’ department.
This design features (as seen in the images);
- The complete set (Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson's offices, the “Jerry Gergich” Memorial Conference Room, the common space where the rest of the staff works, Andy’s Shoe Shine and Ron’s Spinning Desk)
- View of the Leslie’s Office removed from the main set (using a secure triple rail system)
- View of the Leslie’s Office inserted into the main set
- Focused view of Leslie's Office separate from the main office space (which can be used to display Leslie’s desk as a mini-vignette)
- Rear view of the set showing part of the courtyard
- Close up view of Leslie at her desk, along with the flag for the USA, the state of Indiana and the Seal of Indiana (as seen on the show)
- Close up view of Ron's Office
- Close up view of Leslie's Office, featuring Leslie, Ann and Tom
- Close up of Tom at his desk
- Garry (aka Jerry/Larry/Terry) freaking out at his desk while Donna consoles him

There are tons of references throughout the design, including a fun easter egg! Ron Swanson has hidden a large amount of gold throughout the office. (Some are fake… or are they? Can you use the clues to find them all?)
