The Infinity Train (UPDATED!)

I decided to include outfits based on Samantha's appearances in every season.

So along with the stuff I posted a week or so ago, I also submitted a added Min-Gi's mini-synth to the edit submission.

I decided to make a couple of small improvements to the overall design. The first one was changing the color of the landscape in the Golden Snake Car from neon orange to salmon. I also changed the snakes themselves to pearl gold.

I also removed the inverted tiles on top of the various interiors

I'm currently in the process of putting these in a state where I can actually submit them as edits.

In my last update I claimed that said update would most likely the final one for a while; oh how gloriously wrong I was! I've decided to make some small but important changes to the train car design. For reference, here's the original design.

The basic design is relativley unchanged; however, I have added some curved slopes to the top along the sides in order to create a more show accurate look. Also I originally posted this change on Twitter showcasing several color variations (including the original dark brown) and the general consensus among people who saw the tweet was that I should switch to olive green; so I did.

I'll add these to the actual main project page as soon as I'm able to make edits again.

Well, I've added just about everything I could think of to this project. If there are any changes I decide to make then I'll let you know; but for now, I'm just gonna leave the project as it is with a few minor additions.

I mentioned in my last update that I was working on a model of the Steward; well, here it is!

I also said I was making casual outfits for Ryan and Min-Gi and those are done too.

Hello! It's been a while since I did one of these, and I thought I'd let y'all know what's been going on with the project. I mentioned in my last update that I was planning to add a very small version of the engine and several cars to the set. Unfortunately, translating the engine's design to such a small scale just didn't work, so I decided to scrap that particular part of the project. However, I have decided to add the Steward and a ghom to the set as brick-built characters; the Steward is still a work in progress, but as you can see below, the ghom build is finished.

Now, onto the Book 4 content! I showcased a prototype model for Kez in the last update, and I'm happy to say that that model is now complete with a few minor additions.

Also, the uniform designs for Ryan and Min-Gi are finished, and I'm currently working on their casual outfits (the plan is to include their casual outfits as an alternate option).

Finally, I, of course, had to choose a car from Book 4 to add in, and out of all the fun and unique cars featured in that season, I decided to go with the Pig Baby Car due to how weird and uncomfortable that episode was and because there aren't really any detailed interiors with the other train car designs in the set.

To celebrate this achievement I thought I'd offer a little preview of what I plan to do next with this project. At least one person has been asking about building instructions for some of the brick-built characters and that's definitely something I'm currently working on. I'm also trying to figure out a way to add a very small version of the train (the engine and several cars) to the build. Finally; I'm planning to add Book 4 content when it eventually comes out; this will include a fourth interior along with minifigures of Ryan Min-Gi, any other major characters in that season, and Kez who I've already made a model for (I'll add a face when Book 4 comes out and I have a more concrete idea of her personality).
