500

I have reached 500 supporters!

Thank you all so much for your support so far! Now I am halfway to the first benchmark of 1000 supporters. I never expected to receive so much support from everyone! Please be sure to share my project so that we can get it to 10,000 supporters. I cannot do this without your help. Here is a sneak peak of my next modular building, which I will be posting fairly soon.

Thank you again to all of you who have supported my project so far!

Sincerely,

Lion's JEM

400 Supporters!

I have now reached 400 supporters! I'm almost halfway to the first milestone, but it seems my project is steadily losing momentum. I'd really like to see this get to 10,000 supporters, but I can't do that without your support. If you have any friends who are fans of Lego, tell them to check out my project. The more you share, the more that people will support the project. Thanks to all of you who have supported my project so far!

Sincerely,

Lion's JEM

300 Supporters!

Thank You!

Thank you again for all of your generous support! I am very pleased with how far this project has gone so far, and I couldn't have done it without support from all of the 300+ people who have supported me so far.

Piece Count

Although I haven't received this question, I will tell you the number of pieces in the model. In the current design with minifigures included, there are a total of 2,862 pieces, about 400 more than the 10243 Parisian Restaurant. As such, I imagine it would cost only slightly more than the Parisian Restaurant, and probably be priced somewhere between $180 and $200 in US dollars based on piece count. Since it is a Lego Ideas set, and would come with additional information in the instruction booklet, it might end up a bit higher in price than that.

Thank you all again for your incredible support!

Sincerely,

Lions JEM

Minifigures!

After reaching 200 supporters, I decided it would be a good time to give an update with my proposal for each of the minifigures in the set.

This is the cast of characters I propose for the set. As usual, each will use the generic smiling face. From left to right, we have the owner of the bookstore, dressed in a shirt and tie with a black sweater; the cashier at the coffee shop, who will wear a blue polo shirt; a female patron in regular semi-casual street clothes; and a male patron in a suit and tie.
