This is a model of Plastic Beach, the home and recording studio of Gorillaz during their 3rd phase. It is made of pieces of junk floating in the ocean stuck together, but Murdoc spray painted the island and had the mansion built over it.
It's made with 2998 pieces, and includes the island, minifigures of the band's members, Noodle, 2-D, Murdoc and Russel and a small display shaped like a submarine to put the minifigures.
I built this because I think Gorillaz deserves their own Lego set, and I believe this would make for a great display piece for both Gorillaz fans and Lego fans.
