Little Ocean Casitas

Where would you like to stay when you're on a beach vacation? By the water, on the beach, or the water? 2 of these little houses sit on the ocean near the beach, while one sits on the beach. These are very small-scale houses, as they are only about 6x6x5 blocks in size. I think they are very nice and simple and can be very good beach-setting Lego sets.

It is 716 pieces, and many of the pieces are very small like the sand and detail of the water shoreline. I wanted to design a set that reminds you of the summer, and the great relaxing future that is ahead like summer in a couple of months. I was also inspired by the types of houses I see on the walls at a fast food place called Tropical Smoothie Cafe which is my little brother´s favorite place to eat. Casita is Spanish for house, which is why they are called, ¨Little Ocean Casitas,¨ because they are on/by the ocean. My mom inspired the title of this set as the title is what she first thought the Lego set was, and I thought it was a very cool name. Also, in each little house, there is an object that matches the color of each house. It was hard to get good lighting inside of them even with the roofs off, but I can tell you that the mint green and white house has a green apple in it, the yellow and brown house has a banana in it, and the red and pink house has a rose in it. For the houses on the ocean, I wanted to put fruits that rely on water in the houses as the only house with a plant in it is on the land.
