Wile E. Coyote Brickfigure

Thank you for your continued interest and support.

I think the most requested Looney Tunes character I didn’t supply originally was Wile E. Coyote.  As I found a way to include The Road Runner, I think that Wile E. Coyote could be included as an alternative (as he would use some of the same pieces as Taz and therefore could be an additional alternative).

I hope you enjoy.  Please let me know what you think in the comments, if you have time.  Thank you.

Thank you for your time.

Beep, Beep. The Road Runner

Thank you for your continued interest and support.  (No longer my number one project!  We need something fast to catch up!)

I have received a number of requests in the comments to include additional characters in this project.  I think the number should be limited to make it an affordable and a realistic, one product proposal.  I had limited the number on this project to allow for the alternatives I have shown in the updates.

Also I thought adding one character like Wile E. Coyote doesn’t make any sense unless you add The Road Runner?  I couldn’t see any way to add The Road Runner, which meant Wile E. Coyote was left out.

But when I was working on another project a way presented itself.  The picture shows a possible option for The Road Runner Brickfigure.  It would require printing to show the eyes etc.

What do you think?  Please let me know in the comments, if you have time.  Thank you.

Thank you for your time.

Daffy Duck Alternative

Thank you for the continued interest and support.

The final alternative.  Picture shows Daffy Duck as per main picture and as Duck Dodgers.

Please let me know what you think in the comments, if you have time.  Thank you.

Next time additional character options...

Thank you.

Porky Pig Alternatives (revised 13 July 2014)

Thank you for the continued interest and support.

Picture shows Porky Pig as per main image, front and back, classic bow tie and jacket look and Duck Dodgers spacesuit look (both with a possible mouth, if not printed).

Next time Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers...

Thank you.

Taz Alternatives

I would like to say thank you, I have been offline for over two weeks and I see the support has continued to grow, which has been a pleasant surprise.  Thank you.

Now I am getting nervous.  I know you are probably hoping to see some of the other characters suggested in the comments, but first I would like to complete my initial presentation.  I decided as an experiment not to include more than the main image to start with, because I wanted to see if spreading the presentation over updates, might add an additional reason to follow a project? And provide me with more flexibility to make mistakes and correct them? (Maybe that was/is a mistake? – all comments welcome).

One of the features of Brickfigures is that you can build and re-build alternatives.  I would like to encourage ongoing engagement with the product.  Therefore I would like to try to include alternative suggestions with the intention that some alternative pieces and instructions could be included to create alternatives and extend the value of the product and encourage user creativity.

Picture shows Taz with closed mouth, partially open mouth, tail, fully open mouth and tongue.

Next time Porky Pig alternatives...

Thank you.

The models have been created using LEGO Digital Designer (in the Extended Mode) which can be found here:

LDD things you might not know
Under the edit tab, there is a preferences option, which may (depending on your computer) allow you to generate a higher-quality picture.
You may also want to explore the outlines on bricks option as well (I think it makes building easier, even if you don’t want to see the outlines in a final picture).
If you use Ctrl k in the Build mode it allows you to save an image with a white background (which currently will show with a grey background on the Discover pages).

Thank You GRusso and POV-Ray Rendering
GRusso
https://ideas.lego.com/profile/GRusso/projects
pointed out to me that rendering is a better option than simply using LDD and is not as difficult as it looks and provided me with the links below.
You need two pieces of software, one to convert the LDD file and the other to complete the rendering (which can take a number of hours, depending on the complexity of the model and the bricks used). The software can be found here:

Errors and Mistakes
I hope I have provided some clarification and useful information. If I have made any mistakes (which is almost guaranteed) please point them out to me in the comments (so I can try to correct them) or if you think any of the content in my project (or projects) or updates is inappropriate or inaccurate in some way and needs to be removed please contact the LEGO Ideas team direct here:
