What is it?
This set depicts a geothermal power plant strategically built around an active volcano. It features three main structures:
The Turbine Hall:
This central structure houses the powerful turbines that convert geothermal steam into electricity
The Hydrogen Sulfide Scrubbers:
They contain chemical filters that remove hydrogen sulfide, a naturally occurring gas in geothermal steam, which can be harmful if released into the atmosphere
The Groundwater Pump Station:
Located adjacent to the Lava Collection Station, it houses a powerful pump that draws cool groundwater from deep underground reservoirs to cool down to hot lava
Why did you build it?
I was inspired by the incredible potential of geothermal energy as a sustainable and reliable power source. I wanted to create a LEGO set that would educate and inspire people about this technology while also being a fun and challenging build.
