The dodo bird (scientific name Raphus cuculatus) was a well known extinct bird that was declared extinct in 1662. It went extinct because it had no fear of humans, and therefore could be easily killed by them. This set shows 1 dodo, and it is about 1/3 scale. Only its toes and wings are posable, although the feathery wing pieces used for its tail can be moved slightly. Everything is very accurate, so it would make a great set because of that, and because it is so well known.
It contains roughly 1,000 pieces, and I built it just for fun.
