NASA's Voyager 1 was launched on September 5, 1977, and left our solar system in August 2012. Voyager is currently 47 years old and is in interstellar space. The Voyager mission is most well known for its golden record that it carries as it travels. This record contains sounds, music, and images from Earth. Voyager 1 also carries a load of scientific instruments such as an ultraviolet spectrometer, a cosmic ray, and a manometer. This is an updated and improved version of the same project I did two years ago with added details and more accurate construction. The build contains a total of 237 pieces and includes a display stand that includes a model of the golden record. Voyager can be detached from the stand as well. I think this would be a great set for any space enthusiast or space exploration fan.
