Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
After working on various LEGO spheres, domes and polyhedrons, I finally took the challenge of conceiving and astronomical cupola on top of an astronomical observatory, within which stands a cassegrain-type telescope!
The cupola is fully rotating, and its opening is fully functional and can be operated with a lever.
The telescope is mounted on an equatorial forked mount, with rotations fully functional on its two axis: right ascension and declination.
I attached a small office to the main building and set the environment in autumn, emphasized by the maple trees showing reddish leaves.
The Astronomical Observatory is made of exactly 3000 LEGO bricks.
