Invader Zim House and Voot

On Friday, February 20, 2015, Oni Press announced that they were partnering with Jhonen Vasquez and Nickelodeon to publish Invader Zim comics.

This is very exciting news for Invader Zim fans and as you can tell by the amount of retweets and favorites of that post, July can't come any sooner.

What this means for our project is that now it is related to a current product. This makes a stronger business case for releasing Invader Zim LEGO sets. Please support the Invader Zim LEGO set and share this project with everyone you know! We have until May 1, 2015 to get 10,000 supporters. We will only make it with your help!

Looks like LEGO has given us the green light to continue rallying supporters for the LEGO Invader Zim project. They have done a preliminary check on the license for Invader Zim and do not see any conflicts or issues with it. That's another huge hurdle for making this project into a real set. Now we just need to get to 10,000 supporters by May 1st. We can do it!

Wow, we have reached a real milestone for this project...1,000 supporters! Thanks to everyone who has supported this project so far. Also a big thanks to the folks that have helped spread the word about this project. As we wait for an official comment from LEGO, let's keep up the energy and get this project to 10,000 supporters.

InvaderCON III: Final Doom will be happening this weekend in Austin, Texas! Unfortunately, jiminyc and I will not be attending. However, Johnny of OperationHeadPigeons fame will be doing a panel on all current Zim projects and he will be mentioning our project to all the invaders lucky enough to attend InvaderCON. Sunday at 3PM is when the panel with Johnny will happen. Stop by and say hello. Johnny ROCKS!!!

This is just a small update for those that are new to LEGO Ideas.

Since there is no longer a green support button, please click the big blue support button to vote for this project. It's still free and now it is even faster to support a project!

Also, LEGO Ideas used to be called LEGO Cuusoo. That is why Cuusoo is used in the main description of this project. This is the same site with the same basic idea, it just has a new name. We still need 10,000 supporters by May 1st, 2015 for LEGO to review it. If we don't have 10,000 supporters, the project goes back to zero supporters and we have to start all over again.
