This is a feather-quill set piece addition to the already existing LEGO gel pens. I designed the feather(s) because quills have been an iconic writer's tool for well over a millennium, so I found it fitting to create a decorative feather that could be attached to the ends of the already existing LEGO gel pens to recreate their iconic look.
The individual feather set comes in at 140 pieces. The barbs have a comfortable amount of movement and flexibility, enabling more detailed curves for the vanes as a whole. The center connection of the rachis keeps the feather sturdy enough to stay attached while the pen is in use. Lastly, the feathers would have several colors/patterns to chose from.
I believe this idea would make a great LEGO set because having such a variety of ornate feathers would make for a wonderful series to compliment the gel pens. But even without the pens, it would be a fun set to collect.
