Roland TR-808

Today is 808 day and so here is the latest build of my 808. It’s got even more line details around the dials on the left. I also found a cool AR experience with the 808 so I can see how close I am getting with my MOC.

Like most of my MOCs I am never finished tweaking the build to add that last little detail. This will be the case for the 808 for awhile I am sure.

The main challenge with this build has been doing as much line work as possible with brick. So I wanted to add a little more detail to the upper left where the various knobs are. Again I had to really flex my building skill to achieve the radial tile work around the knob. Even making sure the dial was centered required some reverse stud building. I am very happy with how it turned out.
