“It’s a beaut, Clark! It’s a beaut!” – Grandpa Clark
Widely celebrated by audiences around the globe as the ultimate Christmas movie, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation has delighted fans for over 35 years. Blending heartwarming charm with unforgettable comedy, its timeless humor has made it a cherished holiday tradition for millions.

“You serious Clark?” – Cousin Eddie
The film has become a cornerstone of the season, inspiring countless brands to capture the magic it brings.

In just a few weeks since sharing my LEGO build on Facebook last year, I’ve received nearly 10,000 comments, reactions, and inquiries about where to buy it with many asking me to submit it to LEGO Ideas.

“Most enduring traditions of the season are best enjoyed in the warm embrace of kith and kin”
– Clark
In Christmas Vacation, the Griswold home is more than just a backdrop; it's a key character in the story, playing a role in the laughter, chaos, and connection to the film's heart.

For millions of fans, the movie resonates not only because of its humor but also for its heartfelt portrayal of the joys and challenges of spending the holidays with loved ones.

The movie evokes memories of holidays past, lost loved ones, new and old family traditions, and the pause and comfort of the season.

The Griswold house isn’t just a piece of film history; it’s a timeless symbol of the magic and spirit of the holidays. It perfectly captures the essence of a family Christmas vacation, forging a deep emotional bond among fans.

This LEGO build is a tribute to those cherished moments, offering fans the opportunity to recreate and relive the magic of the Griswold family Christmas.

“He (They) Worked Really Hard, Grandma” – Audrey
It all started in 2019 with the creation of the home’s exterior and Eddie’s RV (and yes, it is a good-looking vehicle). But after experiencing the LEGO Ideas Home Alone set, it became clear that the Griswold home was much more than its outer facade. Capturing its true essence required meticulous research and a level of detail never attempted on this scale to expand and bring the inside to life.

Over the next 11 months, passion and inspiration fueled the journey to recreate every intricate detail of this iconic house, capturing the spirit and joy it represents for so many.

“Clark, that’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year” – Cousin Eddie
Join all your favorite characters as you relive the most unforgettable moments from the movie!

OUTSIDE, experience the chaos of Clark hanging and falling off the roof, punching Santa, cutting down his backup tree, and adding to the ever-growing garbage pile.

INSIDE, the hilarity continues: Clark opening the tree with a resounding "Looks great, little full, lotta sap," the ominous doorbell announcing the in-laws' arrival, Clark's retractable ladder mishap, and the beloved attic scene only to name a few.

Raise an eggnog toast with Clark and Eddie, laugh along with Eddie’s colorful commentaries, enjoy gingerbread baking and TV naps, witness Clark tripping in the attic and carving the turkey, the dog rummaging through the trash, the jelly-of-the-month fiasco, and the iconic newel post repair.

These relivable moments and more are guaranteed to be the “Gift that keeps on giving the whole year!”

“The little lights are not twinkling” – Grandpa Art
Adding "25,000 imported Italian twinkle lights" is an opportunity left to the builder—an ideal opportunity to shine and elevate your exterior illumination game!

“It’s the little people, little people like you” – Mr. Frank Shirley
So, with collaboration with Tim Caravia (TheTimmyC), we give you the Griswold Family Christmas House!
